Commentary for Bava Batra 236:8

וא"ל רב פפא לאביי בשלמא למ"ד ליוצאי מצרים נתחלקה הארץ היינו דכתיב (יהושע יז, ה) ויפלו חבלי מנשה עשרה שיתא דשיתא בתי אבות וארבעה דידהו הא עשרה

refers to the murmurers; in the company of Korah,<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Num. XXVII, 3. ');">¹⁶</span> bears the obvious meaning. [Thus, one] Master compares the murmurers to the spies<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Since they were both referred to in the same verse.
